I need to be fitted for a BM dress ....
so what do I do?? the weddings are in Sept and Oct. -- and here I am at 29 weeks... probably will be anywhere between 30-36 weeks when i go---
so i ask-- what do you do?? just order a size up from normal and alter it accordingly??? do I actually have to go and be measured?

I went in the beginning and told them I was pregnant. They ordered a size up for me and I get fitted a week before the wedding.

yeah if you are already 29 weeks then one size up should be OK.

I am due the end of may and have a wedding in november. I was told to get my measurements from my wedding dress, and then they will order two sizes bigger.

my best friend ordered it big, and her FINAL FITTING was 3 DAYS before my wedding....YES.....3 DAYS.
We were married in March, she gave birth in May

I'm due in June and I'm in a wedding in August. I explained the situation to the woman when I went for the fitting and she ordered the dress 2 sizes bigger. They say it's better to get a bigger size and make it smaller than the other way around.

I'm in the same situation. I am 29 weeks, and just got measured for a BM dress for September. They took my other measurements and ordered a size larger.

I would go 2 sizes up. You have no idea how quickly you are going to lose the baby weight, and they can ALWAYS make a dress smaller, they cannot make it bigger.

i was measured for a maternity BM dress. Ill be 32 weeks for the wedding and i got measured when i was about 10 weeks. They only measured my boobs and went one size up incase they get bigger.
I couldnt believe the size they ordered me, i was almost angry that i asked a size 14 in maternity dress, im usually a size 5 or 6. But like others said, its easier to make smaller.
