I need to find a good exfoliator.
My skin is VERY dry in the winter- so dry that I use Eucarin lotion on my face, and fall asleep with a coating of Vaseline across my forehead (my "flaky" section).
I can't find the right exfoliator. Any suggestions, please?

I like the cleansing pads from Aveeno. They are textured so they scrub quite well, but they do not over-dry.

What about getting a moisturizing facial?

I use and love Phytomer Purifying Gommage Exfoliant. It's kind of hard to find so I order all my Phytomer stuff on Spalook.com. But I did see the Equinox gyms carry the Phytomer line.

Re: I need to find a good exfoliator.
I use a bunch of Neutrogena scrubs - the one for the blackheads is pretty good for exfoliating.
DH also uses Eucerin for his face and hands, he gets severely dry skin in the winter.
Think about putting a humidifier in your bedroom too, if you turn it on before you go to bed, you'll probably wake up less dry.

estee lauder has a fantastic cleanser and exfoliator. It's a little pricey, but it is so worth it - I bought it over the weekend and I'm in love with it!

My skin is really dry now too. I can't exfoliate b/c it hurts too much. I just got a humidifier and I use L'Occtaine moisturizing facial mask a few nights a week. It is a thick lotion that warms up.

Re: I need to find a good exfoliator.
An exfoliant may aggravate your skin even more. I would get a moisturizing facial. I would maybe exfoliate with egg whites and oatmeal as oatmeal acts as a healer

These are GREAT! I love theses!
Or...to save yourself some money...just add sugar to your normal cleanser. Use once a week.
