I need to learn how to say no
I went to a job expo last week b/c one company was going to be there
so I went- saw them- spoke with them- etc
someone from another company chased me around the room- and asked for my resume
so I gave it to her, she called me the next day for an interview
and now I have to get ready to go- all b/c I can't say no
I just want to call and cancel- but I guess I should go for practice

are you not interested in a job with these people at all?
if you have the time i would def go anyway....i almost canceled on an interview 2 years ago b/c i had no interest but then it led to a permanent position that was a very good experience...you never know what doors may open!

If you have no interest whatsoever in the job or the firm, cancel.

It doesn't hurt to go for the practice. I did that a lot. You get better every time.

I agree.
I did this when I knew I was going to be downsized from my last job. I was there for 8 years and was so rusty on my interviewing skills that I just looked at it as strengthening those skills. It helped alot.

see that was kind of my thinking - hear them out- see what it's all about
My plan is either to continue in my current feild- or do pharmacutical sales
it's too soon in my search for me to choose something outside of those 2 things
in 2 months I might feel differently

I would go. You never know they could offer you a fantastic job. If nothing else, extra interview experience never hurts.

Re: I need to learn how to say no
I think the real reason I don't want to go is I don't feel like doing my hair- just to pull it back
but I just checked my hair- and it looks good in a pony tail- so I am just going to take a quick shower and fix my bangs
