I now TOTALLY believe that teething and diaper rashes go hand-in-hand...
I had posted earlier that DD has been taking VERY short naps these past few days. I figured it might have something to do with some molars coming in.
So after her 1/2 hour nap, I went to change her diaper and this nasty diaper rash had materialized out of nowhere!  Not to mention, she had blown right out of her diaper! The last time that happened, she was cutting 2 of her bottom molars.
What do you guys think? Have you seen that these things tend to go together? (Molars, rashes, diaper blowouts?)

YES! DD is teething and her first tooth is coming through on the bottom. She had her first diaper rash out of nowhere! She didn't even sit in poop for longer than 2 or 3 mins at all so I was

My mom has never heard of this connection before, and since she is always right, she thinks the timing is just coincidental  again.

My DD never gets diaper rashes, she got them when her two bottom teeth came out, now she got a couple of diaper rashes again and two top teeth are coming out.

The way I learned it was....babies tend to swallow a great deal of saliva when they are teething. This causes watery, acidic stools, which are a skin irritant. My DS isn't even cutting a tooth, but is experiencing increases in his drooling and spit swallowing....every time he goes through a day like this, his tush is red and inflammed.
