I ordered the OJ book this last Thursday. Anybody else get it or plan on reading it?
Well I was interested in reading this book since I first hear about it over a year ago. I decided to order it from Amazon and it should ship in a few days. Is anyone else reading it currently? Before anyone bashes me, all the proceeds go to the Goldman family. It is part of their 30 million dollar civil case since OJ is a deadbeat.

I don't intend to buy the book, though if I did I would do it so that the Goldman's would get the money.
I think once it came in the mail I'd just throw it away.

Re: I ordered the OJ book this last Thursday. Anybody else get it or plan on reading it?
The book is by the goldman family and OJ's name isn't on the cover. Here is some insight on it from Borders.com.
Book Description In 1994, Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson were brutally murdered at her home in Brentwood, California. O.J. Simpson was tried for the crime in a case that captured the attention of the American people, but was ultimately found not guilty of criminal charges. The victims' families brought civil cases against Simpson, and he was found liable for willfully and wrongfully causing the deaths of Ron and Nicole by committing battery with malice and oppression. In 2006, HarperCollins announced the publication of a book in which O.J. Simpson told how he hypothetically would have committed the murders. In response to public outrage that Simpson stood to profit from these crimes, HarperCollins canceled the book. A Florida bankruptcy court awarded the rights to the Goldmans in August 2007 to partially satisfy the unpaid civil judgment, which has risen, with interest, to over $38 million.
The Goldman family views this book as his confession, and has worked hard to ensure that the public will read this book and learn the truth. This is the original manuscript approved by O.J. Simpson, with up to 14,000 words of key additional commentary.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Ron Goldman Foundation for Justice.
About the Author Fred and Kim Goldman are the father and sister of Ron Goldman, who was brutally murdered along with Nicole Brown Simpson in Brentwood, CA on June 12th, 1994.

I was in 10th grade when the case was on TV. We watched it all the time and talked about it in class. I didn't know it was leaked. Shame on me for not checking bit torrent first. I am just curious as to how he did it and what not.

Re:
They talked about this book on Oprah. OJ already profited from the book I think about $160,000 the Goldmans get 17cents from each book that is sold. I would mail them 20 cents before I would buy that book. The Brown family did not want the book released at all. I think most people know OJ did it. I don't need a book written about how he would have killed his ex wife and mother of his children as a confession. Him thinking this book was a great idea is sickening. The title is wrong it should be How I Did It.

Even thought the Goldman's are getting the proceeds, it is still Blood money. If it were my son that was murdered, I would rather be poor than have had that POC published.
ditto
sometimes i feel like the Goldman family have become obsessed with the money that they were to be granted in the civil suit--and they want it more than anything.

For the amount of money the Goldman's are getting for this book - I would never buy it. Besides the fact that it disgusts me how OJ wrote and published his confession

No...I won't be buying it. They will make minimal money off it anyway. No need to give OJ the satisfaction that I have any interest in hearing what he has to say.

According to them on Oprah, they only get a few cents per book sold. Something like that.
Anyone know if they get it all or what %? They made it sound like it was not much.
I would never buy it, or read it, either which way.

It works out to 17 cents a book - and OJ gets the rest of the profits.
