I passed the 3 hr GTT
My dr's office called yesterday & told me I can eat all the ice cream I want!
They said my #'s were so low that it didn't even make sense to take the test. So I guess the 1 hr test isn't that accurate or you really have to fast before you take it.

I didn't fast before the 1 hr because my appt was in the evening. I tried to limit my sugar & carbs that day but my blood sugar was still slightly over the limit.
For the 3 hr, you have to fast 10-12 hrs before & can't eat anything until they take your blood at the 3rd hr.
I would suggest to sched your 1 hr test in the morning so you can fast from the night before

Well CONGRATULATIONS!!! That is wonderful news!
I just failed my 1 hour test and have to go back on Monday for the 3 hour test. Hopefully I will have the same results as you!!!

thanks for the tip!!! i'm supposed to schedule my appt. for 3 weeks from now
