I-pod docking station?
Does anyone have a docking station, what do they use it for and what do they think of it? IL's sent me a check for my B-day and I really want one, but I don't want to make a mistake on the purchase.
I was looking at the Altec Lansing Portable Speaker one but am not sure.

Yes, I was thinking of getting one of these for my Brother for christmas. But, I also do not know which one to buy.

We have a JBL one and its great. It was $170. if you want a really nice one, I would suggest the Bose one for $299. We use it for listening to our ipods in the house.

I have the Bose and it's good but if I had to do it all over again, I would have gotten the small JBL one because it sounds good and it is better for travel not to mention half the price.

I actually only spent $39 (with free shipping) on this one from amazon back in March - I use it at work and for the price, it sounds pretty darn good (I was very surprised as are people who see/hear it).

I have one, the iblaster orb from bed bath and beyond...I love it, but I have a small apartment, so you might want something that would be louder for a bigger space...they have a few models there....
