I really don't know how much longer i can work
i am almost 33 weeks but i am having a hard time getting around. i work in an office but i am up and down all day long. i have horrible sciatica and can't sleep more than a couple of hours at a time. i have elevated amniotic fluid, so i have a little bigger belly than normal. if i leave work too early, i won't have that time home with my 
not really looking for an answer, just cranky and wish i didn't have to work

I guess that is a decision you will have to make. Just make sure you do what is best for you and your in the long run.

Is there any way you can limit your movement and how much you get up and down all day? Don't be afraid or embarassed to ask for help... you can only do so much

I'm starting to think the same thing! I'm 35 weeks and my back kills me all day long in my office chair. No matter how many times I get up and walk around, no matter what kind of pillows I put behind my back, no matter how many times I stretch... I am in pain all day. Not to mention the hourlong commute I have here and back. Don't know how long I can do this! But I'm in the same boat... I want to save my time for after the baby... not before! Ugh.

I don't really know much about this stuff, but can't you go on pregnancy related disability because of your sciatica? Wouldn't you just need confirmation from your doctor? I don't think that would affect your maternity leave time because you are physically unable to work.

I'm sorry, I worry what it will be like when I get to that stage specifically because of my commute (mid-suffolk to nassau/queens border), not to mention what I will be feeling like at that time....I wish we lived in a country that made it mandatory for a lot of time off afterwards! Oh well, I can keep dreaming!

thats what i was thinking. i'm going to start working from home a few days next week. i'll be 38 weeks at that point.
