I really feel it this time...
I started 225iu of follistim mixed with Menopur, Thursday night. I've done the follistim before, but on lower doses, and really didn't feel many side effects, other than a little bit of emotional crying towards the end.
But now I'm really feeling it - I have a pounding headache that won't go away, I'm nauseaus and crampy.
Is this normal, or something I should talk to my RE about?

what day of stimming are you on?
I remember having a headache that wouldn't go away too. Are you drinking enough water/fluids? Sometimes that helps.
Yeah the crampiness is the medication working- it's causing your ovaries to become very active.  Hang in there- how often are they monitoring you?

Beth, Drink alot of water.. thats all I can say.. These meds are wicked.. But it will be over soon..

Today is day 3... I also have a tendency to over-respond, like I did on the Clomid, that's why they always kept me on a very low dose of follistim when I was stimming for the IUI, about 75iu.
Now I'm on 225iu of follistim plus the menopur. I just sent Dh out to buy me some vitamin water, and I go back for my next appointment on Monday. After that, they have me coming in every other day for monitoring.
