I considered it, although Sorry, no offense, I hate fake names...so I didnt....But I want to share , yet have had a weird TTC past and am not apt to share too much for I know too many people and I just want to guard myself as well...so Im just sharing bits and pieces, but I understand wanting to just be OUT with it........

I actually outed myself once but had the post removed before it was even noticed.
I personally could care less what the people posting on here know.... The "fake name" wasn't created to hide from anyone on here, but like you to hide from work people.
I completely understand.

I completely understand. I have a fake name and it sucks. I chose to come in here not revealing me (not that anyone would know me anyways), but for the fact that those who do know me, I want this to be private and personal for me and my husband. It also started with the miscarriage and wanting to have a place to talk, where people didn't necessarily "know" me.
It sucks. There have been a few things that I have wanted to share, but it would definitely "out" me. So for now I will go down this route, and eventually it will all come out.

Yes, sometimes I find it annoying. I get sad that I won't go to the GTGs because I am trying to retain my anonymity 
However, there are so many people that come on this site and lurk and I just don't want people knowing before I have a chance to tell my family and friends.
I also have personal friends on here as well and I just don't feel the need to tell them I am TTC and share every detail of my life. There are some things (not much though) that I would like to keep between DH and I.

I don't have a "fake name" but my screen name is something that wouldn't give me up, I don't post personal info and the only pic I put up is one of our backs where you can't see our faces.

OMG me too! A few people on this site know this is my alternate alias but I agree, I don't think I will ever out myself with this name. Sadness.

I don't like it but there are a few people that know who I am and I don't want them telling any family members that we are TTC. It's our business for right now. I'll come out once I'm PG.

I work with at least one other LIF'er (that I know of) and I know some other people at work are lurkers....
Not sure if I am going back to work after DC #2, so that's really the only reason for my fake name. When I finally do get pregnant, I am going to wait as long as possible before I tell work. I have lots of fat to hide the baby! I won't look preggo for long time!
