I really need some help with dinner for my 2 year old
He is picky, but I need to try some new things.. I feel like he eats about 2-3 things that I keep rotating.
What does your toddler eat for dinner?

She eats everything we eat.
2-3 times a week we eat fish, usually tilapia or salmon, with a side of whole wheat couscous and some sort of vegetable.
She LOVES egg schnitzel with hummus and pita. Also Shakshuka, which is a traditional Israeli dish with eggs in a tomato sauce.
Pita with falafel, hummus and israeli salad.
Veggie burger or veggie hot dogs
Pasta with veggie meatballs
Pasta with garlic, pine nuts, tomatoes, spinach and feta
Pasta with shrimp, tomatoes, artichoke and feta
Pita pizza (pita toasted with tomato sauce and mozzarella)
Egg with avocado salad
Vegetarian chili
Bean soup with croutons And if all else fails, veggie chicken fingers and corn

DD only eats a few things too... she likes turkey meatballs (frozen), perdue chicken short cuts... The honey roasted or grilled... Pizza, almost any kind of pasta... Sometimes she will eat our leftovers... chicken or whatever... Besides that, she doesn't really like much else... I give her veggie/turkey burgers, she will eat maybe half...
But she will also always eat her veggies and fruit with dinner...

Re: I really need some help with dinner for my 2 year old
Raviolis, mac and cheese, chicken cutlets, fish sticks, peas, fruit..Sometimes happy meals, eggs. it seems like i feed my girls the same thing..,BUt i read not to push food on them and if i try to feed them something different from the above I end up throwing it out. So i stick to what they like and if they eat they eat and if they don't they don't..I don't make food a big deal..I always try and give them a yogurt smoothie sometime in the day so at lease i know they are getting something healthy.

Well, I figured out the key to my daughter's eating a while ago - keep her entertained. She can go for hours with food that she "dips" or has to put together, like a Pita with falafel and salad inside

Re: I really need some help with dinner for my 2 year old
Ds eats whatever we are eating...
Pasta with either ricotta, homemade sauce, pesto, garlic and oil, lemon and bread crumbs (similiar to a francese sauce), chicken cutlet, pork chops, steak, sausage, ribs, asparagus wrapped in bacpn with melted mozzarella (his favorite), rice, corn, peas, brocoli with garlic and bread crumbs, potatoes (all different ways)
My son LOVES food with flavor/spices. He actually says "mmm" and licks his lips when he eats!!

That is amazing!
My DD is pretty picky with what she'll eat. She does like chicken, so I usually just call other meats chicken for her to even try them (I know, bad mommy!). She looooves pasta, macaroni and cheese, yogurt, bagels, and cereal. She'll also eat veggie burgers, rice, some veggies, and most fruits. She takes a long time to try something new, but I found that letting her "help" make the food does make her more interested in eating it.
However, we were at a Chinese wedding and she had jellyfish, and loved it! (she's a mystery wrapped in a riddle inside an enigma)

Thank you everyone! I got some really good ideas. Some of your kids have a great diet. Ryan would eat PB&J and raisins 24/7 if I let him.
