I saw a bad accident tonight....
...about 1/2 mile from my house on a road I ride on about 10 times a day. There had to be a fatality - the emergency vehicles (about 10 of them) have been there for like 2 hours now.
It so scary to think how often I travel in that same spot many times a day. It really makes you stop and think...

I'm in Patchogue. The accident was on the westbound side of Sunrise Hwy service road by 112.

I witnessed a scary one happen right next to me the other day.
I was really shaken up by that- to see it happen right in front of your eyes.
Awful!
And all I could think was- I SO could have been involved in that- if I had left later, changed lanes etc...
You really take for granted how you take your life in your hands every single time you get behind the wheel....
