I saw something upsetting this morning
I was driving to work and waiting to exit the Jackie Robinson Parkway. All of a sudden, I see a SUV pull onto the dirt in order to cut everyone off and he crashed pretty hard into a tree. No one stopped but me to see if he was ok. It was such a terrible sight to see the car crash. He said he was ok and didn't want me to wait with him or call 911.

Thank you so much for stopping.
DH was in a bad car accident - well, someone else ran him off the road last year but NO ONE stopped to help him. he was unconscious and, thankfully, a person in a house nearby heard the crash and called 911 not knowing what it was to investigate... God knows how long he sat there before the Police/Paramedics came.
He was in the hospital for days - thankfully, he was OK and had no permanent injuries but I walked around so angry at the world for a long, long time at the fact that (being the road he was on) probably HUNDREDS of cars passed him by w/o stopping - knowing that he could have been dead or close to death - by the way the car looked, everyone who saw it thought that the person inside was VERY seriously injured if not worse.
I didn't think people like you were still out there after what happened to him last year but I'm so glad that they are.

I saw a very minor crash from far away once, and it was disturbing. I can't imagine seeing a bad one close up. I'm glad he was okay, and that you stopped to ask him.
