I saw the most interesting stroller this morning

It looked so much easier on the parents back because the baby was up at chest/tummy level.  linky The gentleman that had it said it was amazing, so I wanted to share it with my favorite mommies. It is called the Stokke Xplory.

I think Racheee posted it last year and said it was very hip in England

Re: I saw the most interesting stroller this morning

It's pretty cool, but unfortunately it costs more than my first car. I only wish we could afford such things.

No worries. It actually wasn't its own post. It was in response to the Dutch stroller my MIL bought us (Mutsy 4Rider). It may be new over here in the US though. And I definitely think it is not very common on LI

I learned something new off this post, too. I had no idea a stroller could cost as much as a car. Chat Icon

Re: I saw the most interesting stroller this morning

I just saw them today, for the first time at planet kids ,to be honest I didn't like the way they look at all. (not that we could afford to buy it even if I loved it, but anyway.) I can never understand how can people spend so much money for a STROLLERChat Icon when I saw a price on them my jaw dropped , literallyChat Icon , there I was looking at a stroller that cost almost more than our crib, changing table/dresser combo and a stroller together.Chat Icon and I thought Bagaboo was expensiveChat Icon

Re: I saw the most interesting stroller this morning

I did not like the fact that the center of gravity was so high. I think it was a problem with some parents on uneven pavement.

Re: I saw the most interesting stroller this morning

I'm wondering where I would put the diaper bag and anything I usually take along for storage. Also, would it be easy to cover in bad weather? (rain shield and such?)

I've seen them, cool points for the height, but they look bulky.

Re: I saw the most interesting stroller this morning

that is an awesome stroller...I hope they invent a double stroller, I would definently buy it.

That is one thing I wish I thought about when I was pregnant.. I want a stroller where the child can always face me if I wanted.

Re: I saw the most interesting stroller this morning

actually I just saw the demo... to fold it you have to take the chair off in one piece. no where to hang your bag no storage of any kind..

the only thing it has going for it is the height and that you can have it face you.

you should get Bagaboo, you can change it so the child faces you and it has storage , the only thing is that you have to take the seat off to fold the stroller.
