I seriously do NOT think i can live this way anymore
I cant take it that i have such issues going to the bathroom. My stomach was SO flat his morning and then suddenly as im driving to work, i feel it destending and destending.... all i had was a cup of tea 
So now im in my classroom SUFFERING bc i CAN NOT GO and my stomach is pushing SO hard and i have next period off and i CAN NOT spend that entire 40 mins inthe bathroom. I have a mtg and copies to make etc etc etc!!
When is this gonna stop??? I feel like i dont know how to get my dr to help me.
Im starting to cry just writing this. Im SO irritable and i dont wanna take it out on my students but im so incredibly uncomfortable!! I want to just go intot he bathroom, do "my thing" (like normal people) and be done w/ it. WHY IS THIS SUCH A PROBLEM?????

Please try a different doctor. It it not normal to be in so much pain!! Maybe they can give you a diaheretic that you can take at night or something.

I don't no much about stomach problems but maybe see if you can visit with a gastroentoroligist (sp?)....

michele i can totally relate! i have had a lot of stomach issues and believe it or not i attribute it to healthy eating. sad to say i don't eat as healthy as i used to and i have no problems these days.
it's frustrating and it's uncomfortable...some days it could even be a week before i went  Went to a gastroenterologist but it didn't help any.
just wanted to say i totally sympathize...

Do you have IBS? You should see another dr. - I had stomach issues a few months ago and my dr. dismissed them, I went to another one and she recommended peppermint gel caps and that it was probably IBS again - it worked!

My Dh had sort of the same problems for years, and i finally made him go to a gastrointerologist, it turned out that he has crones disease and has been put on meds, it has helped him, hope that helps, feel better

Were you diagnosed with anything?
My whole life I was told I had IBS, and I suffered just like you are. I know how awful it is, and I would be afraid to leave my house.
A few years ago my acupuncturist encouraged me to get tested for allergies. Well, BINGO!! I have a gluten allergy.
Huge difference in my life. My stomach is a trillion times better, and when I do eat a lot of gluten I notice the difference.

Please go someplace else and get a second opinion on what you have (have you been diagnosed with anything?). It won't hurt you to get a second opinion, it can only help. I'm sorry you're not feeling well.

Definately go get a second opinion! My husband has the same thing but not to the same extreme. It is hard to go out after dinner because there are times he knows that he must have a bathroom very near

You need a Gi doc. This is nuts that there's nothing being done for you. Have you had any testing done?

My sister had the same problems you're describing. She went to dr after dr and finally went to an allergist who discovered that she has celiac - an allergy to gluten. Hers is so bad that she can't use any products with wheat in it (including shampoos and body lotions).
Def. find a dr who can get you some relief - that is no way to live!
