I spoke with Danielle (danirella) and she has a small request UPDATE WITH LINK TO MADD
I spoke to Danielle a few minutes ago. She said to thank everyone again for all their prayers. She also said Ken is making improvements and they are very hopefull!!!
On Sunday June 1st is "Walk Like MADD" It is a walk that honors people who have been affected by drunk driving. Last year we walked in memory of my brother. This year we will be walking for Danielle's brother Ken also.
Her request is that if you are free that day to please come down to Farmingdale College and walk. The ceremony starts at 10am and the walk at 10:30. She and Vinny will be there to meet all the wonderful people who have sent prayers and kept Ken in their thoughts.
Drunk Driving had already taken too many lives. Please come and show Long Island that you aren't going to stand for it anymore!!!
If you have any questions please feel free to FM me.
I also asked Danielle if they need anythig (ie Food) and she said that the police have given them more than they need at this point. Again she just asks for your prayers!
ETA: I FM's LIF to see if they can set up a team so that we can all sign up under Long Island Families. I will let you know what I hear back!

Ok so I spoke to LIF and they said we could make a team named Long Island Families. If you go to the address below you can join the team. I don't know how to make a link.

Keep us updated I would like to walk. Unfortunately I have a friend that was killed too about 10 yrs ago.
Can bring our babies in their strollers too?

nicole - thanks for posting.
i just want the opportunity to thank each and every one of you in person - even if someone just said "he is in my thoughts" i want to say THANK YOU... that is my priority!!!
this is so moving to me - oh i can't wait to show my family - they are going to be so touched. i want to make some sort of t-shirt -- i'll have to think about it, with his name or his picture - something! i'll brainstorm at the hospital tomorrow.

Bump - so nice to see a response here!! This is great!! I'm just worried about the link/how to donate?? Is there something wrong with it?? If people just want to come and support us that is all I really need/want or can ask for -- but if you want to donate I don't know what to suggest??
