I still need some help with getting Connor to sleep!

I've looked and looked online and can't seem to find what I need for advice. Please ladies, for those of you with 1 year old babies how do you get your babies to sleep? I've tried so many things and nothing is working. Chat Icon Caiden we were able to CIO with him at 8 months old but Connor is so different. He'll only fall asleep with mommy and bottle or just mommy. Then after he's finally asleep he'll wake up 2-3 times just for me to lay him back down and usually he'll be out again for the night. I REALLY need him to be able to go to sleep on his own. My DH and mom don't understand. They just say oh he'll grow out of it. Easy for them to say since they're not the one's getting up with him. Naps aren't any better. He usually needs mommy to get him to sleep in his high chair. I can't even get him to nap in his crib unless I put him in there after he falls asleep. Oh, he also needs to play with mommys hair when he needs to sleep. PLEASE HELP!!! I don't know what else to do! How does everyone do it??? Everyone I know make it sound so easy, but it's not! Thanks for letting me vent! Chat Icon

Sorry to say I was a total failure at this. I brought Joseph into our bed & laid down with him.
