they have awesome deals. I got highliters and sharpies for 99 cents and markers for 68 cents! can't beat that!
BTW: Farmingdale Staples is having teacher appreciation day on 8-25 from 9-1

I saw the woman at the Bay Shore Staples so often last week, that she actually recognized me and knew my order! I also saw the same teacher there 2 days in a row!

i FORCED myself NOT to go in there..
I know they're having awesome deals, but I got everything that I really need with my budget money so I am resisiting the temptation to go in...otherwise, I spend my own money on stuff that I LOVE, but really don't "need."
I will miss my Pilot liquid pens this year. *sigh*
Why are teachers such DORKS with school supplies....

Do you the Staples Teacher Rewards card? I have gotten back some great checks from Staples. Right now, I have an $18 gift check from them.
After I signed up years ago, they also sent me a tax exempt card--I never asked for it! So I always use it when I'm there.

Most of the Staples in the area have their Teacher Appreciation Day gig that day. I live near so many that I hit a bunch of them. I just walk in and say "APPRECIATE ME!!!!"
