Really? I have 4 weeks left at 25 a pop. I am giving away 100 dollars for my last visits? That totally stinks! All along it was paid.

Call your administrator at BC/BS. Some plans vary, and it never hurts to check.

DH insurance actually pics up my co-pays, but I do see that they get billed for it every visit.

I had Empire in the beginning. I only paid a co-pay once. I don't know if that's the insurance's rules or the doc...?

They told me they had to check but the first visit was a co-pay then they "thought" it was for every visit that I had a sonogram only after that.

Oh maybe that is why, I have had a sono every visit since the initial when they took my bloodwork.

Thanks girls for the info! I actually just found out why I was billed a co-pay. I went in there 1 time with a sore throat so they sent out a culture. It had nothing to do with my pregnancy...I just couldnt get to my primary.

Re: I switched health insurance 3 weeks ago...

depends on the plan. I work for Empire...some plans have no maternity co pay, some do.

Also, the dr MUST billit as routine maternity check or it will take a co pay.

Call the insurance, Ask.
