I talked to the pediatrician and he said

Katie is colicy and probably has reflux.

He said give her 1/4 tsp of extra strength Malox 3x a day.

Anybody try this?

I swear that colic and reflux has become an epedemic. I am going to do my masters thesis on this topic when I start the Nurse pratitioner program.
Try chammomile tea fo the colic, it was our lifesaver and I was so happy that it was holistic, for the reflux, we just changed our schedule, shorter more frequent feeds, keep them upright for 30 min after a feed. We also used a small dose of Zantac, although my doc now refrains from prescribing Zantac because of the alcohol content.

Only someone who has experienced colic and other gastric issues will feel your pain.

my daughter had colic and i feel for you....the dr brown bottles helped alot and we could not have survived without Gripe Water, it works 100 x better then gas drops

Kaylee has had acid reflux since she was born and i am still dealing with it at 4 months old. They put her on tagament because she was spitting up so much and in a ton of pain.
