I tested positive for Strep B
the dr. made it sound like it was no big deal, but its freaking me out a little bit.
what happens if your water breaks and theirs no contractions, dod they induce you?

Usually when your water breaks you are having contractions, you may not feel them or you will.
If your water breaks and there def is no contractions, they will most prob give you pitocin to get the contractions going.
don't worry, just remember only 15% of pg's the water breaks naturally at home.

Don't worry, they give you an antibiotic when you get into the hospital. You will be fine!
I had it and thats what they did for me.

def not a big deal..many women have it! They will just give you antibiotics when you go into labor!

not totally sure to tell you the truth. THe dr. said that 20% of people "just have it". Its some kind of bacteria...

Nothing to worry about. It's very common. You just need to get hooked up to antibiotics when you get to the hospital.

How was the test?
not as bad as a pap smear, they just qtip you.

My water broke (well, leaked really) and I never had contractions. They waited about 24 hours before they started me on Petocin. Then the contractions came on VERY strong. I needed an epidural they hurt so bad.
