It definitely sounds like he is in denial. You should talk to him about it & let him know that you need his support right now no matter the outcome.

Re: I think he is in denial
My situation is a little different but Dh kinda reacted similair.
I had IVF so it was a little different circumstance wise. I had a few BFP's. I showed DH and his response was " The lines not very dark". Stop testing till our blood test.
NOT THE RESPONSE I was looking for.
I continued to test each day and actually hid them from him unless he asked and he would be slightly annoyed , but I could see after like 6 tests it was starting to hit him I was pregnant. Although like I said, it look 6 tests to even see a glimmer in his eye of reality. LOL
Then once the Dr confirmed it , he was estatic and his intial reaction was not indicitive at all of what he has been like through out the pregnancy so far.
After the blood test he was actually accussing ME of not being happy enough.
So I think that some guys are just like that, afraid to get too excited. DONT THINK that he wont once it REALLY sinks in.

Re: I think he is in denial
Something similar happened with me & my dh. I don't think he was in denial, more like being cautiously excited.
I don't know your situation but we had a m/c soon afer I got my bfp & so this time around, he didn't want to believe it was true for a few weeks. He believed it but didn't want to get too excited & then get hurt again.
I think you should tell him how you feel
