I think I dropped today...does this mean anything?

I noticed that I dropped a little today and DH noticed too. I am 36 weeks 4 days. Does this mean I am going soon (please God) or could it mean I could still go to 40+ weeks?

i also have been dropping (if u saw me with no clothes on) but i still look like i am carrying high to people, my doctor said he's very low (he even felt his little head at the last exam) but that it doesnt make a different, he can come anytime, early or late and i am 37 1/2 weeks, my friend told me yesterday she was carrying low/dropped the last 4 weeks too and she was a week late, i do hope for your sake it means something though

Unfortunately, I am not sure it means anything because I am 31 weeks and my bundle has never traveled above my belly button. I think I am just carrying low. I would say when your mucus plug goes -- that is when you know it is soon.

I started dropping around 34 weeks and unfortunately - NO BABY YET! I think it's all a crap shoot to be honest.

Oh sweetie you know I dropped over the weekend -- and I'm still here, at 40 weeks and 4 days.

Tomorrow I see the OB so I will see if there is any change....I'll let you know!

That's a good sign but not a guarantee. I am carrying low but his little head is not THAT low yet per the Dr.

I have carried low as well but now she's REALLY low. Hoping that my Dr. agrees with me at Friday's appt

I want this kid out if you can't tell!

for my first - someone told me that I started to drop 2 weeks before I went into labor. I could never tell, b/c I was still just uncomfortable

it's a preterm sign. doesn't mean you'll go super soon or not, but it does mean the body is preparing! so exciting!!!

I was told you can drop with your first right before you go up to a month later. Good sign but not a helpful sign
