I think I felt my first flutter....Is it too early?
Im 13 wks this Sunday.
I was laying in bed last night and all of the sudden it felt like a little butterfly's wing inside me rubbing up against my skin. What a way to describe it Huh?
Is it too early though?

Probably too early. But there is so much going on in there that its hard to tell what you're feeling. From everything I've read 15 or 16 weeks is the earliest anyone feels it and its usually in second pregnancies when you're more stretched out and your muscles are weaker.

I don't think it's too early. I felt my son at 13 weeks (it felt like popcorn popping) and with this PG I started feeling the baby at the same time.

Re: I think I felt my first flutter....Is it too early?
I felt my first movement at 12 weeks with DD and 11 weeks with this one so I don't think 13 weeks is too early. My doctor said you can't feel usually until 14 weeks but then when she asked me where I felt it and I showed her she went to listen to the heart and it was in the same spot. So personally I don't believe in the 14 weeks rule.
