I think I had 1 painful contraction Saturday night!

I can't remember exactly what a labor contraction feels like, but I'm pretty sure I did feel one. I was laying on my left side watching TV on the couch and out of no where, it felt like a Braxton Hicks was coming, but it wasn't that at all. It was different and painful. It lasted 30 seconds and that was it, never came back??? Chat Icon Chat Icon The only time I had a pain like that was when I was in labor with my 1st son and it came and stayed! Chat Icon

I don't want her coming too early. I'll only be 34w on Friday. I just keep wondering though if she's going to come early? I went into labor 5 days early with my 1st and never got to go into labor with my 2nd since we scheduled my c-section for 10 days before so I didn't go into labor. So, I don't know if I would have gone early? So, since this is number 3, I'm really curious because my c-section is only 8 days before my due date this time.

We'll just have to wait and see.Chat Icon

No BTDT advice. I never had BH when pregnant with DS. Only contractions I had were labor contractions.

Ooooh boy! I would say if you have another one give the OB a call and see what they say. Chat Icon Chat Icon

I've been having painless contractions (i actually didn't even know they were contractions until the doctor put me on the monitor) and that was at 33w. Now i'm 35w2d, still having them, but the doctors arent concerned. They say after 34w, its normal to start going through these stages of labor. They told me to call the doc if i have more than 4/hour. Mine are very irregular, sometimes having 4/hr, sometimes not having any for hours at all.
I would definitely mention it at your next appointment regardless! But since it was only 1, i wouldnt worry too much. Good luck!!!
