I pay $44.95 per month. Total cost is different for everyone, since you pay until you reach your goal weight and maintain it for six weeks. At that point you become a free lifetime member. That could take you longer if you have more to lose.
I hate paying it too, but its the only thing that works for me and I am down 60lbs. I have about 40 more to go.

I do it online and found a 40% off coupon code. I joined for 3 months and it was about $50 after taxes and all.
There were no discounts for meetings in my area.

Just do WW, you won't regret it! Yes, it's an extra expense I didn't need, but I was trying for well over a year to drop some pounds on my own tracking with MFP and my fitbit, and scale didn't move. Four weeks on WW and I'm down 8 1/2 pounds, more than halfway to my goal. Every other week practically they do run specials and the more months you buy in advance the cheaper it is. So see what promos there may be. Quicker you get to goal, quicker you go on Maintenance and don't have to pay anymore!

This was me. I am kinda pissed I was being so cheap and didn't join sooner lol
I spend over a year doing MFP and training at the gym. I lost a solid 18 lbs. Then was stuck. But 7 weeks on WW, I am already down a little over 7 lbs.

Thanks! You can find discounts or specials to reduce the first few months. I think I had a buy 3 months in advance, get the 4th free or something. But if you continue after that, it will go up to normal price.

This! I'm down 68. You can pay less to do the online only but for me, that didn't work. Also, I waited until a good deal came around (Mine was lose 10lbs in the first three months, get three months free!)
