I think I ruined my new brick

I had posted on here a few days ago about brick cleaners for efflorescence. I found a non-acidic solution used specifically for this problem and I think we may have left it on too long.It looks like my greyish-brown bricks are now a whitish-grey. It almost looks like I stripped the color. It's not terrible it's just completely opposite of the brick color we had intended.

Will the color change over time? Is there anything I should do, or just leave it?

hmmm...color can wash out of pavers.

My pavers have faded a bit over time.

I tend to think the color you are seeing is the color they will stay...
