I think I'm feeling Braxton hicks, but I'm not sure?
I have been getting a strange tightening feeling in my lower abdomen today. I think I felt it about 3 times. I was just talking a walk and I got the tightening/pressure feeling. I touched my belly and it was rock hard, and then a second later it was soft again. They don't hurt at all!!!I'm only 22 Weeks, should I let the doctor know, or is this no big deal.
The doctor informed me at my last visit that I have a low placenta, so I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it.

Yep sounds like what i get and was told last pregnancy it was braxton hicks .

Yep sounds like what i get and was told last pregnancy it was braxton hicks .
You think I should call the doctor monday and let them know, or just wait another 2 weeks until my appointment.

Sounds like braxton hicks. My Mayo Clinc Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy book says they can start as early as 22 weeks. I'm at the end of 25 weeks and have been feeling them (as you described) on and off for about a week and a half. Just let your Dr. know at your next appointment.
Braxton Hicks from what I read are usually in just one area and are inconsistent. It's normal as your uterus is practicing for the real thing.

You can call and tell them, not much they can do for them tho. I would just say rest for a bit, put your feet up and drink some water. Thats what i do.
