I think I'm going to cry.
So I figured, ok, I'm tired, let me bring Ava into the bathroom in her bouncy seat and I'll jump in the shower real quick to wake up, also because I'm supposed to meet up with Corinne today. Well, we have NO FREAKING WATER AGAIN! At LEAST two times a week, I go to turn on the water and the complex has it shut off for some reason or another. I'm so tired and all I wanted was a shower or a cup of coffee, neither of which I can have now I just want to get the hell out of this complex

Re: I think I'm going to cry.
Um...if they are doing it with no notice, that MAY be illegal since you have a newborn infant.
Call the water company and complain

Re: I think I'm going to cry.
How can they shut off the water to their tenants without letting them know? I think a phone call to the mangement company is necessary.

Re: I think I'm going to cry.
I already called the management company. No one EVER answers and no one ever returns your calls. I think I'm going to call the board of health.

Re: I think I'm going to cry.
I would start calling all kinds of places. That has to be illegal. DO you have a local friend of family member's house that you can go to for a shower?

That's just awful! I am soo sorry.
That is illegal, they can't shut your water off without notifying the residents.
I hope it doesn't stay off that long. Why did they turn it off all the time anyway?

If it makes you feel any better, my landlords have not got the oil filled and we have been taking cold showers for 4 days now......

that's HORRIBLE.
Everytime I ask them why they keep shutting off the water, they just say it's an "emergency". Well, their "emergencies" seem to happen consistently
Everyone in my family left for Florida this morning. I have keys to my mom's house, but that's over 40 minutes away, so I don't think that I want to drive there just to shower. If they don't turn the water back on soon, I may just go there anyway and stay until tonight. I'm just so upset.

Re: I think I'm going to cry.
Well don't you want to move and break your lease, write a formal complaint letter certified to the management company about the water situation. Then when you want to break the lease you will have proof as to why you want to leave.

Re: I think I'm going to cry.
you should at the very least demand a reduction in your payment for the days that you are without water... I used to do that, and I would send in a check for an amount less than the usual monthly payment, with an enclosed letter explaining the deduction.
