I think I'm in trouble
I was just reading on what to expect at prenatal appointments and saw that they take a urine sample at every one.
I haven't been able to give a urine sample in a doctor's office- EVER.
In HS I used to have to bring a sample in from home for my sports physicals- cause I can't pee on command.
Even if I have to pee badly- I still can't go when I'm put on the spot.
I guess I better learn how quick!

Trust me, when the baby is sitting on your bladder, you will have NO trouble peeing anywhere or ANYTIME! Pantyliners will become your new best friend!

lol its every visit! last time i had to go so bad at home right before, and when i got there i didnt think id have to go, but i did! the baby just pushes it out of you.

My OB automatically gives me sterile cups to take home every visit for the next visit - maybe they can do that for you? I find it so much more convenient!

I don't ever have to go in the office (unless I forgot mine from home). But they give me a cup at every visit, and then the day of the appointment, they want my first morning urine.

omg me too and to add I have a very shy bladder.
Here is my trick, when I was a baby potty training, my grandma would help me out by going "psssssssssss"
To this day I think "pssssssssssss" when I have to go for the doctor. I drink lots of water before the appointment and it usually works.

I get a cup to pee in before every appointment. It has to be FMU at my office so when I get up I go into the cup seal it and put it in a ziplock bag until my appointment

I wish that I didn't have to pee so badly by the time I get there now. Trust me, the baby sitting on your bladder makes it easier.

me too! One time I got there, gave a sample, went back to the waiting room. The nurse called me in for the appt - told me to give a sample - I said I already gave you one, but can give you another if needed!

My obgyn gave me a cup with lid so I can bring in FMU on the day of the appointment.
