I think my son said mama....
I think my DS said mama this morning. He is 7 mths. I was half asleep at 3:30 in the morning and I thought I heard him say mama 2 times. When I finished giving him the bottle, I swear I heard him say it again as I walked out of his room. I tried to get him to say it again as I was getting his dressed and all I got was a goofy toothless grin! Now I am wondering if I was dreaming or if he really said it! I guess I will have to wait and see!

My DS is 8 months and he says it too. I am not sure he completely understands what it means but I started saying it to him when he started babbling and now he says it to me and when I leave the room. It is very cute.

For the first few months DS said mama, he actually screamed it because he wanted my breast instead of the bottle. I would've loved to hear it for the first time not so angry.
