I think this is the best board to post this on..
At my grandmothers grave, the grass is very sparse. It looks like she was just buried and it has been almost 7 months now.
We want to fill it in a bit to have the grass grow. We cannot go there 3 times a day to water it like most top soil directions tell you to.
Does anyone know of anthing we can put down to fill in the areas. We move the dirt around every day and it sprouts up a bit but its still mainly just dirt. My mom found something on the computer called patch perfect but according to reviews, it doesnt work very well.
Does anyone have any idea what we can use that will work fast without much attention to it. Thanks so much!

Patchmaster by Scotts works great... The only thing, it may not "blend" in so well with the sparse grass already there.
You should just buy a small bag of grass seed and add more each time you go.
Is there a central office that you could complain to?

Yea we have spoken to them twice already. They just dont listen and its so sad!
If we throw grass seed down, the rain should take care of it right? Thats what I originally told my mom but she keeps talking about having to care for it constantly. I know nothing about this stuff!

I would use the Patchmaster by Scotts. It comes with it's own fertilizer and if you put it down with a little topsoil it should grow without extra watering.

perhaps you can plant a very low maintenance plant or flower? sorry I don't have a very specific suggestion, I'm just trying to gain a green thumb now in my yard.
I just have to say how sweet it is that you & your mom are looking after your grandma's grave, you know she's smiling down on you for that!! My dad's grave is upstate (Kingston), so I don't get to go there too often, but it looked pretty sparce at first too, I guess from them shifting around all the dirt when he was buried.
good luck w/ whatever you put there!
