I think we found a house! This city chick is NERVOUS!!!
We went and looked at 5 houses today! Absolutely loved one of them!!! The house has had a lot of work done on it! However, the owners (due to a quick move) don't want to finish the downstairs bathroom, the basement, and a few other minor things!
The house is grand! It has 5 bedrooms, 2 baths (we may put in another bath in the future) 2 working fireplaces! Nice big kitchen and lovely orignial details! Low taxes for Yonkers!
I have NEVER lived in a house!!!!! This is just insane!!!!!!

How exciting! Where in Yonkers is it? ( I also live in lower Westchester.) There are a lot of older houses with some great details.

Congrats!! My husband and I lived in a co-op in Yonkers before we moved here and bought a house. I loved it there...we lived on McClean and Bronx River Rd. Such a cute irish/italian neighborhood. I hope they accept your offer and everything goes smooth

sounds great! just a word of advice...there may be a reason they dont want to finish the downstairs bathroom so just make sure you ask your REA if the seller has a c/o for it. if not, its gonna just give you problems down the line if you have an offer accepted and go through all the motions and then it turns out they dont want to get a c/o.
