I thought I was a facebook expert but I'm not
So, I have almost all my settings private. If I am friends with someone but they have a friend that I do not want seeing my photos, what do I have to do. I know that for friends of friends, I can see their pictures if the mutual friend posts a comment. In fact, that gives me the "in" to scroll through a whole album. There are 1-2 friends of friends that I do not want seeing my information or photos. Is there anything I can do? Do I just monitor to see if the mutual friend comments at all? I hate to delete comments as I think that a particular friend may get insulted.

Change the settings of your albums to the "friends only" option.

That's done but I have seen friends of mine comment on other people's photos and once a friend of mine comments, I can scroll through any photos in the album. I just went in and I see an option to totally block a person. I may do that. I hate that I feel this way in the first place. I just feel that there are 1-2 former friends who do not deserve to know anything personal about me, especially not so easily.

i think for your own photos all you have to do is put it on friends only. then if someone comments on it, they only thing they can see is that actual picture not the whole album unless its set to friends of friends.

That's because *their* settings allow you to see their pics! If YOUR albums are friends only, no one aside from your friends will be able to see the pics (non-friends might see a tiny thumbnail version, but when someone who's not a friend clicks on the picture, they'll be brought to a page that says they don't have permission to view the page).

yes, this is true. It's because their settings are not set to Friends Only. I tested this theory out a few times - only friends can see your photos if you have it Friends Only setting... the reason you are seeing other peoples is because their settings are not as private. Even if your friend comments on them...

If you know their friends names, you can block them.
If you go into "News Feeds and Wall" in privacy settigs, you can change what gets publish when you comment on things.
