I Thought you ladies might find this amusing...
I am cleaning my home and I came across some VERY old paper work - one such piece was the hospital bill from my birth.
Dated August 1970 from Beth Israel Hospital:
5 days hospital stay @$90/day and 5 days nursery stay @$25 - $575
Less: Blue Cross allowance -(minus $80)
Labor and Delivery Room - $120
Amt. Due from patient - $615
Less paid by patient (minus $250)
Balance due - $365
Amazing huh?

Wow amazing how much things have changed. I think the fetal monitor now a days cost more than that balance due. But is it cool that you have that.
