There is a double disc greatest hits album by Tim McGraw out right now. The latest one, I believe, has the live version of "If you're reading this" which is amazing -- check it out!
Also, there is a great "ultimate" album by Johnny Cash -- with alllll his best stuff and it even has "Hurt" on it AND "Highway Man" - two of his best songs ever, IMO.

Oh yeah - there is a soundtrack to, I think, "I am Sam" -- I never saw the film (not a Sean Penn fan) but my sister has the CD and it is other people re-recording Beatles songs and singing them (like Eddie Vedder doing Norweigan Wood) and it is GREAT!
