Ingredients:
2 tbsp. butter OR margarine
1/3 cup finely chopped onion
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 cups Swanson Chicken Broth
1 pkg. frozen broccoli, thawed and chopped
2 cups nonfat milk
1 1/2 cups cubed light or regular process American pasteurized process cheese product (like Velveeta)
Directions:
HEAT butter in skillet. Add onion and cook until tender.
STIR in flour. Stir in chicken broth gradually. Cook and stir until mixture boils and thickens. Add broccoli and cook for 2 min. Add milk and cheese and cook over low heat until cheese is melted.
