I WANT MY CAR BACK!!

so i think i posted awhile ago that on december 9th i was in an accident with my brand new SUV. i was making a right turn, the back of the car hopped the curb and hit a fire hydrant. i did about $3000 worth of damage.
well... i dropped it off the friday before christmas at the body shop to get fixed. it STILL isn't done almost 2 weeks later! i called today, and they said probably not till the end of next week! thats 3 weeks that i'll be without a car!!! luckily, i can borrow ILs car, but then thats inconveinencing them, too! and i still don't feel like ican drive it anywhere cause its not my car, so i've just been going to work and back and thats it.
when i dropped it off, the guys said like 5-8 days it would take... and i understand that they probably ran into more damage once they started working on it, but its just frustrating and i'm so sad!!!

Make sure you go over everything with a fine toothed comb and make them account for every second that they have your car. I was in a small crash and was told they needed 1 week and it would cost me $1000. Well 5 weeks and $3000 later I finally got my car back. Upon further exam of my car, I found that things they said they had to replace had not been replaced, things that were supposed to have painted had not etc. It was a mess! Good Luck!

well when i called today, they said they had to order more parts or something... so i'm guessing once they started working on it, they ran into more damage than they first thought...
