I want to hear your thoughts
A friend of mine recently got into an argument with her cousin because her cousin sends totally innocent, but sometimes half naked photos of her very young daughter online. She lives out of state and thinks nothing about including pics of her daughter in the tub or with no shirt on. My firend is appauled at this and feels that someone out there might be "getting off" by looking at these photos of her daughter on the internet. I never really thought about it, but I guess she could be right.....I guess some sicko out there could be accessing her pics somehow and getting off on it. I always send friends and family pics of DS on shutterfly or snapfish and definately have included a few tub time photos not thinking anything about it, but I think I will be more cautious now.
Please share your thoughts on this.

This is something that freaks my dh and I out about. Im always afraid so we just dont download any pictures like that on the computer and use the home printer to print those type of photos. Im sure if sickos want to find those kind of pictures they can just open a childrens magazine b/c their are always pictures of children in diapers or whatnot.. but just the idea of it being done with my dd makes me freak out so i choose not to put those on shutterfly and snapfish or kodak.. just my own opinion.

Some people get off seeing fully dressed kids, some like women's shoes, some like random shapes and colors. If someone is worried about someone else "getting off" on a photo, you can never take a photo, and never step foot out of your house. Of course, everyone should take the precautions that they deem important, but you can't prevent strangers from thinking what they think.

I have sent pics of my DS's tushie to friends. I don't see anything wrong with it and I don't know how anyone else would get those pics

I'm no hacker or anything, but I think you can get stuff like that from e-mails too. not sure. I text messaged a pic of my son's tush to some friends and family members saying "its a full moon tonight" and never thought anything of it really.

Completely agree.
ETA: I have sent pics of my kids in the bathtub, on the potty - and when they were babies I had a few backside photos.
