I want to make a Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake
But my questions are do I need to have a crust for it or can I make it without one? Are the store pre-made crusts any good? Does anyone have a yummy crust recipe that they can share?

That sounds awesome--I would actually HIGHLY recommend the Oreo premade crust. Sounds like it would be just right for the recipe!

Re: I want to make a Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake
Try this one...has brownie as the crust:
Brownie Swirl Cheesecake
Ingredients: -8 oz (1 Pk) Brownie Mix -16 oz Cream Cheese (softened) -1/2 cup sugar -1 tsp vanilla -2 Large Eggs -1 cup milk chocolate chips (melted)
Directions: -Grease bottom of 9 inch springform pan -Prepare basic brownie mix as directed on package; pour batter evenly into springform pan -Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes -Combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended. -Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition -Pour over brownie layer -Spoon chocolate over cream cheese mixture, cut through cheese and chocolate mixture several times to achieve a marble effect. -Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. -Loosen cake from rim of pan, cool before removing rim of pan. -Chill.

The Oreo crusts are really good. I'm not much of a fan of premade crusts, but I always have these on hand for when I make desserts
