I want to share that my sister got a puppy
My sister got a Puppy on december 20th she is a breeder dog she is a havenese, she got her at 8 weeks old and on christmas eve she had some health issues. She would not eat, drink and not go to the bathroom so My sister and brother in law had to bring her to the animal hospital to get her check out, they drew blood on her and gave her a blood transfusion also she flatlined 1 time and they brought her back.well she came home on christmas and not even for 1 day she was again not eating and drinking her water she was dehydrated and had a temp of 105 they got the fever down eventually. the vet had to force feed the puppy and make her drink some water. Fast forward to today The puppy is now home at my sister's and she is now drinking her water on her own, eating, going to the bathroom and she loves to lick your face and play her name is Jasmine and i think she is now 10 or 11 weeks old. my sister and brother are getting another puppy later on this month because the breeder wont pay the doc bill and to make up for what my sister put out this is what the breeder is doing. I just wanted to share.

Re: I want to share that my sister got a puppy
That sounds like a very irresponsible breeder. A good breeder will not give you a puppy until he or she is 12-15 weeks old. 8 weeks is too young for a puppy to leave its mother. I would tell your sister to look for another breeder int he future. I'm so sorry that she and the puppy had to go through that.
On a different note, I have 2 Havanese and they are the most wonderful dog. I hope your sister has as wonderful as an experience with hers once she is happy and healthy
