I was invited to a christining - questions inside...
It's at 4 pm on a sunday - and the reception is at Russo's on the bay (fancy I think).
What do I give as a gift and what do we wear??

Ive been to a lot of parties their, and for that type of party I would dress casual (nice top dress pants) As for a gift is it for a family member or a friend?

Well since its for a friend, If you wanted to give money, $50-$100 would be very nice gift. Or you can get something religious to give, or a savings bond is a nice gift also. Hope this helps!

I agree, casual nice is the way to go. And I would give a bond. I'm a big fan of bonds for christening gift.

I would go with the slack & dressy blouse. I second the bond suggestion. Double your money!

I would give $150-$200 and I know that sounds like a lot but they are having it at Russo's--this is totally my opinion though

This applies to me for weddings, but not christenings since the gift is for the baby, not the parents.
