i was just told: "i wish (employer) goes out of business and you lose your job!!"

even if you're in a bad spot, to wish that on someone is so uncalled for.

i got a call from a participant who is having an issue in getting her money.

i can understand being upset about having to wait for money.

she told me that i don't understand because i'm employed. she said that i sound young, i probably still live with my mother, and i don't have bills to pay.

when i tried to explain that we have to follow the irs rules and regulations, or else we can go out of business...

she said that she wishes we go out of business and that i lose my job so that i can know what she's going through. she then said that we're all idiots and we're stealing her money.

to be honest... it just made me sad that someone views the world this way.

all i can do is pray for her.

sorry someone said that to u. This economy sucks. i dont know that womans situation and whatever it was she had no right to say that to u. However in certain situations its so fusturating to see how companies go about their business and dont care for the working family. They even seem they are out there to hurt u even more. Dh and i have a credit card with 3.99% for the life of the loan - its not a tremendous amount but i only pay 200 bucks a month on it and will be paid off without me feeling it being a huge burden. I pay my bills automatically online on the 17th of the month. One particular month the closing date was on the 17th and the payment was rcvd on the 17th. The payment was applied to the previous month and the closing date of that statement was the 16 of the folliwng month missing my next payment of the 17th. (this is after i spoke to a customer svc rep and told me as long as i make payments on the 17th every month im good)
Well my 3.99% jumped to a 29.99% The customer svc rep reversed the charges and applied the payment to the correct month however the SUPERVISOR pretty much told us we were stuck with a 30% apr!!! ABSOLUTLY NOT HAPPENING! He was rude and obnoxious and said it wasnt their fault nor was it our fault bc there was a note stating what the previous cust svc rep told us about the payment date. I did tell him this is the reason WHY the economy is in the toilet etc etc.. After all was said and done dh spoke to a woman in the presidents office who adjusted the apr back to 3.99% bc of everything thankfully being documented.
So while she was 100% wrong to say what she did to u , people are financially suffering out there and it does seem some companies give a crap about it.

Horrible.

With the economy the way it is, we are going to begin to see people resort to desperate measures for money.

Sadly, with more & more jobs being lost everyday, Its only going to get worse.

Desperate people say or do desperate things! yes, it was wrong! She is probably at the end of her rope.

Wow that was messed up, but poor lady, who knows what she is going through at the moment.
