I was wondering can we do something for Gerty and Dan and Family
Is there anything we can do for Gerty and Dan? I know all of these prayers for a miracle didn't work and my heart is literally breaking for them, But can we send them flowers anything to help show them we are suporting them. Maybe a fundraiser for Rogan so we can help Gerty & Dan out? This is my thoughts

We would need to find a place that is reasonable and also maybe we can ask some companies to sponsor so we can have a silent auction and chinese auction.

With all due respect, I think for right now the best thing we could do for her is to give Gerty and her family the time and space they need to grieve for their loss. It is still extremely new and raw for them.
Those of her close friends on the boards would know exactly what they need and want and I am sure will let us know, through updates, how we can help them.

With all due respect, I think for right now the best thing we could do for her is to give Gerty and her family the time and space they need to grieve for their loss. It is still extremely new and raw for them.
Those of her close friends on the boards would know exactly what they need and want and I am sure will let us know, through updates, how we can help them.
I was just trying to be supportive and wondering if we were going to do something, i was not trying to be disrepectful, Sorry if i sounded that way!

I posted on Pregnancy... an idea, haven't discussed it with Gerty or LIF yet...it is very touching and generous that everyone wants to help them through this. I think a fundraiser right now would be, as Leslie said, a bit too soon.

I agree. When the time is right, I would be very interested in helping them out in anyway we can as a community.
