I win the most disgusting home ever seen prize!
FH and I saw a house today...great house from the outside....
sweetestofpeas - it gives TLC a whole new meaning!!
lets just say the people who own it own a restaurant and the workers live in it. about 15 of them. There had to have been 8 mattress scattered thru the house.
seriously, I need the vomit icon!
and the agent tells us that there was an offer...than tells us what the offer was! he is soo full of doo doo.

trust me...
i think i have that beat...
i saw what was described as a 5 bedroom 3 bath colonial..
outside was soooooooo cutie
INSIDE
well it is 5 bedroom because every room, other than the kitchen and a TINY den, WERE BEDROOMS
first bath...you couldn't open the door all the way to walk in...it hit againt the sink
second bath...was in the basement...GUTTED
and when i say gutted...i mean...you couldn't walk INTO IT...there was no flooring or walls just planks
never found the 3rd bath
the basement...well it looked more like a dungeon...
and the gift....the pool in the back
well it looked like a pool of vomit swamp
I lovingly referred to it as the PSYCHO HOUSE
which...in case anyone was curious...was 399K

I had to take a shower when I got home. I felt all creepy crawly.
They had empty beer bottles and cigarettes everywhere. and the bathrooms and kitchen havent been cleaned in five years.

how do realtors think its okay to show houses like that? if i was the realtor selling the house i would say "let's talk about cleaning up a little before clients come by.

of course there are no inside pics. would you want to see empty beer bottles and thirty pairs of shoes, and mattresses on the floor?
Its in a great neighborhood though - we talked to one of the neighbors and she said they call the town all the time to report the owners..

And I have seen some pretty gross things on MLS so actually, it probably wouldnt surprise me too much to see something that disgusting!

ETA: Hey Meghan... I don't think I ever told you about the house we saw in Holtsville w/gang symbols on it and homeless people shacked up in the detachable garage
