I wish....
..cold shoulder tops and dresses would go away.
Granted I own one or two, but to be honest I am just over seeing them everywhere and on everyone.
It's played out already. I can't wait for that trend to head off into the sunset.

I wish....
I especially hate seeing cold shoulder tops on eight year olds. Idk why that irks me so much.

I could not agree more. They are EVERYWHERE - I feel like I can't find normal shirts and tank tops anymore. Even online it's like 85% cold shoulder tops. Really wish it would go away.

I wish....
OMG I HATE THEM!!!
All I can envision when I see them is looking like Theresa Caputo with the long fake nails and a hairstyle stuck in the 90's. Basically, its for women who can't grasp that they are no longer in their 20's and are trying too hard.

I wish....
LOL. I concur, yet caved today and bought a plain black one because it looked cute with a pair of pants I wanted and was 50% off (Thanks, Loft). Now, I'm mad at myself for that moment of weakness and will return it promptly.

I think what prompted this thread was a picture I saw on FB that is similar to what you describe.
They seem to be the uniform of a lot of middle aged women who are trying to be edgy.

I am middle aged- sadly. I guess 40 is considered to be.
I have an 8 year old daughter that has one of these shirts because I thought it looked cute for kids but hated them
for myself.
THEN I decided that so many of my friends looked great in them that I bought a few. Hahaha. I will now chuckle any time I wear one. :)

Don't get me wrong, I"m 43 and I have a shirt too. I really liked the shirt so I looked the other way on the shoulders. But I saw a pic or 2 of myself in it and I was like  . Maybe it doesn't look as good as I thought.
And then all I see on FB is women in these shirts. It's like they can't purchase anything other than it to "go out"
And I started getting sick of seeing them. Sometimes trends, much like songs on the radio, get ruined due to overplay!

I have 2 sweaters and one summer top. But I'm over it as well.
It's every single top and every single dress. I just went a normal tank top.

I am not a huge fan of them at all. Someone bought me one and I still havent worn it but with that said ... I did just get me and DD matching dress with this style for 4th of july because the rest of the dress so cute!! I figured I can deal with it for one day

Same! I saw a picture and my shoulders looked awful.
In a sleeveless top though, my shoulders look fine.
It also feels like I'm wearing rags when I wear it. Like it got ripped and is hanging off of me.
