I won the silent battle
re: the toilet paper  After almost a year of marriage DH finally gets it that I like the paper to come up and over. I had been changing it from down & under for months.
I did not even know he paid any attention to how he installed the roll or that there was some silent battle.
It came up when I told DH that I'm adopting his style of storing utensils in the dish rack. I always put them downward. DH stores utensils upward (except knives) so you can see what you are grabbing more quickly. He then said that he finally gets it about the toilet paper and that I "win" and he will put in on the roll my way.

we are still trying to master that!
but I have the same pet peeve about the way it has to go on

OMG- that's hysterical!! When Pete and I moved it- I was your husband and Pete is YOU! I would move it, and when I went back, it was moved back!!! 
I use to think- what kind of man does this? He cracks me up, and I gave in to the TP!! He's in there way more than I am (even pregnant) so, he always changes the roll....

Yeah, he does laundry and dishes too I just have to keep reminding him to use fabric softner but after having socks cling to his shirts a few times he is starting to use it

When I see it's running low, I'll put a new one on the counter to see if he'll change it. Nope. He takes from the roll, leaves it on the counter and leaves the empty roll on the holder.

he actually gets the roll on the roller? I had to have the paper and tissues depleted before he figured out that he had to bring some upstairs.
He was caught without anything and no one home..
He won't do that again.

I just read some of these to DH and he said "Why can't I get away with stuff like that "
DH does laundry, dishes, cooks (mostly breakfast), mop the floors, vacuums and other odd & end jobs around the house. I guess he is not the norm
