I would like to try to transition dd from crib to toddler bed...
I have a Jardine 4 in one crib and want to make the transition from crib to toddler bed. When I was looking at the directions, I was surprised to see they don't have a railing on the toddler bed. I was wondering if any other mom's encountered the same problem.
What type of railing do you use for the toddler bed?

I don't think they come with a rail
I think you have to buy that separately.

Thank you both! I was wondering did you buy a railing that was made specifically for your crib or was it a universal railing for a toddler bed? I have seen the railings that are for a twin/queen size bed but never noticed if they sell them for toddler beds.

I just noticed for the Jardine 4 in 1 crib, they don't sell a toddler bed railing seperately either. I read a few reveiws on it, and that's one thing consumers were upset with. It's advertised as a toddler bed and we should have an option to buy a railing. I hope I can find a universal railing.
Is there anyone on here that has a Jardine crib or a similar experience? Any tips or advice? TIA

I bought a natural wood toddler bed rail from BuyBuyBaby that was specifically made for convertible cribs. It's made by Kidco

Thank you...I looked into that bed rail online, and like that one. I see the picture has the railing between the mattress and box spring? I only have a crib mattress and we don't have a box spring for it. Do you know if it's possible to use just under the mattress?

They do get ya!!
I don't mind spending the extra money if Jarden even made a crib railing, but they don't even make one. They advertise the crib as converting to a toddler bed, but no place for a railing!! It's really disapppointing!!
