I would rather have fatigue... help!
So I am almost at the 5 week mark and the only symptoms I have are sore boobs and slight cramping, even though that cramping has decreased alot. Anyway, I have read about the nauseousness and fatigue in the 1st few months and I am lucky to say I dont have either. BUT I have the opposite of fatigue... Insomnia! Last night I went to bed at 11pm and didnt actually fall asleep until around 2am. I was praying for fatigue. Anyone experience this or any info if this is normal? Thanks.

Insomnia stinks! I usually am exhausted during the day- but cant fall asleep at night sometimes- so I know how you feel.
They say naseau, etc starts in the 7th week- and I am in the 7th week now- and I can tell you that naseau is in full effect!

Re: I would rather have fatigue... help!
It got much better for me once I was out of the 1st trimester - I think I was worrying too much. But now it is back again, in week 19, whcih stinks. May be related now to personal situations - but it will get better!!
I drink SLeepytime tea at night - and sometimes when I am really desperate I take a Tylenol PM about an hour before going to bed - that would be the night AFTER getting no sleep!

Re: I would rather have fatigue... help!
I got this aromatherapy cream from Bath and Body works for Christmas that is supposed to help with sleeping- and I dont know if is psychosomatic or what- but whenever I put it on my hands when I ready to go to bed, I fall asleep right away!

Re: I would rather have fatigue... help!
Thanks girls! I finally feel asleep imagining myself laying on the beach on my HM and holding my doggie tight.
And thanks Liz... if this continues another few days, I am going to Bath & Body Works.

Re: I would rather have fatigue... help!
I am 6 weeks and had and have the exact same problem. Some nights it is worse than others - some nights I can't fall asleep until 5AM! Other nights, it starts when I wake up to pee. It was actually my first symptom - two days before I got a BFP I stopped sleeping good. What I try to do is the nights I can sleep - i try to sleep as much and as long as possible
I also had no other major symtoms but they are starting to get worse. Just the past day or so and today i have started waking up with nausea and have had MAJOR aversions to food.

Re: I would rather have fatigue... help!
My insomnia is just starting to fade and i am 14 weeks pg, i totally think it had to do with my acid relflux keeping me up at night that i had since i got my BFP.
Dont count out that m/s yet, with both pg's mine started at the end of my 5th week.
I would rather be up at night then puking or worse up at night and puking!
