I you must use sunblock on a baby less than 6 months..Is one better over another?
Going to Sesame next week and though of-course we will try to keep Jesse covered, Im sure he will be in the sun some what....
Did your ped reccomend one brand/type over another ?
He is 3 months...TIA

my ped didnt recommend one but i did use this as my guide to on what Sunblock i am going to use on DD

I plan on getting either California baby, blue lizard baby or vanicare. Which ever I come in contact with while I remember to get it
I do plan on using a cream though. I do not want her in ingest any of the aerosol.

Our ped said to use aveeno baby starting at 4 months. I don't know if the recc is different because we live in NC or what.

DS is 2.5 months old and my ped said to use anything hypoallergenic and to test it on the baby's arm first.
I just bought Neutrogena pure and free spf 60. The dr. also mentioned Aveeno products are safe to use.

Definitely one that is zinc oxide and not a chemical block.

I use babyganics coverup baby. Ped said it was ok to use on my 3 month old.

Definitely test it before you go! DD had a HORRIBLE reaction the first time we used sunscreen. She still has issues with some brands 4 years later.
You don't want to be in the middle of the park and have to deal with hives, rashes etc.

From what I understand spf 60 has as much protection as spf 30 but with more chemicals, why would ped say its ok? AAP recommends spf30.
